Christmas Blessings

Hello fellow crafters!

Can you believe that Christmas is upon us in FIVE days???  I can't.  Honestly.  I'm really not sure where the time has gone but we've been doing our part to get into the Christmas spirit.  Yesterday we spent the morning up on the local mountain and that definitely helped.  We don't get any snow here in Vancouver so being up in the snow with our niece and nephew set us up in the Christmas spirit!

Today's card is pretty clean and simple and really touches on the simplicity of Christmas.  Its all about the little things.  An embossed border, a beautifully scripted sentiment and some neutral ink blending allows this Christmas blessing to float off the page.

This is another sentiment from WPlus9.  Love, love, love it.  The frame around the sentiment was made by using my bone folder and my score board.  After blending out my colours, I turned over the card stock and measured one inch in from each side to sketch my box and then went over my box with my bone folder to create the embossed look on the front. This was a great way to get a bit of simple detail on a one layer card.

If you have any last minute cards to make, this is really really easy to create and honestly, much more beautiful in person.

Thanks so much for stopping in!  I hope your Christmas preparations are coming along smoothly and that you're getting into the Christmas spirit.

Sending big huge hugs,
