Go on and Celebrate!

Hi there!

Well, after a crazy bachelorette weekend and a week of recovery (I'm not as young as I once was) I've managed to get back to my crafty corner - yay! Today's card was made in celebration of a good friend's new home purchase. It's so great to see my friends meeting their loves, finding their homes and starting to meet their little ones!

I'm so glad I came across the Papaertrey Ink papers I used for the colorful background. I created the rectangle centre and frame using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles dies and popped them up using some foam tape.

I used a sheet of acetate inside the frame and filled it with an assortment of fun sequins and sparkles.  Lastly, I heat embossed the Mama Elephant sentiment with some gold tinsel embossing powder and popped it up on some more foam tape.

And there you have it - a fun celebration card!  I hope you had a great weekend and wish you a fabulous week.

Sending hugs,
~Lolo

    1. Thanks for your note Darnell! It's so kind of you to give me the heads up :) I've been missing the challenges lately! But seeing as i'm challenging myself with wedding preparations, I figure that's okay. Looking forward to delving back in to the challenges come September. PS - your cards are always lovely but lately they're particularly stunning! Keep up the great work! Hugs!
